Each product is manufactured with the best raw materials and subject to careful control at every business unit. Thanks to the use of eco- friendly materials all windows we manufacture are 100% natural and ecological. Warranties given for painting are valid only on wooden and wood-aluminum windows and are valid only if they are cleaned periodically with the kit supplied “zero maintenance”. Sidel has a total knowledge of materials used, for this reason releases voluntary guarantees. Live your home in peace.
Timber: 15 years
Thanks to the continuous search for quality and the selection of the best woods available on the market. Together with the long experience gained in over 60 years, we are able to guarantee our windows over 15 years for all the structural defects that compromise the correct functioning. This is possible thanks to the use of unique wood in its kind and inimitable for its characteristics.
Durability over time: with little attention you can bring the most damaged woods back to life.
Customizable: it is the only material that adapts perfectly to any environment and is customizable in shapes and colors.
Ecological: it is the only material that in the processing phase and in the using phase does not damage the environment, it is 100% recyclable and it is never harmful to human health but it brings benefits.
Glazing: 10 years
Glass is one of the main components of windows so you have to choose it carefully and especially according to the real architectural needs of the building. All the windows produced by Sidel are equipped with safety glass (as per the UNI EN 7697 standard), low-emissive, with warm edge and argon gas for maximum performance in terms of energy saving.
On request we can provide special safety glass, glasses to increase thermal insulation, glass to control the solar radiation or equipped with screen-line.
In any case, whatever type is chosen, 10 years are guaranteed for any condensation inside the chamber, and an automatic internal and external siliconizing system guarantees durability over time in terms of performance.
Hardware: 15 years
Hardware used as standard equipment for all series of windows is Maico multimatic type with a tilt-and-turn opening system, perimeter closing of the sash for greater safety and with tricoat anticorrosion treatment guaranteed for 15 years.
Exposure to atmospheric agents, humidity, but also factors such as pollution and poor ventilation, damage the mechanisms of the hardware compromising the function of opening and closing the window.
Thanks to the Tricoat treatment, the mechanisms that make up window hardware are able to withstand even the most aggressive environmental conditions, without presenting the typical damages deriving from corrosion, for example rust.
Painting: 15 years
Painting phase of doors and windows is essential to maintain their beauty over time. If done it correctly, just by paying some simple attention, the wooden windows can have excellent durability thanks to the quality of water-based paints.
The outdoor water-based painting nowadays is a consolidated reality, not only for the numerous advantages deriving from it, but also for the finishes get, which are increasingly natural and velvety. The use of water-based paints also makes the product 100% eco-compatible and thanks to its composition allows the wood to breathe, thus avoiding the formation of splits.
Thanks to the nanotechnology used in the painting process, we have been able to guarantee the external paint over 15 years, but it can also be achieved more if the windows are cleaned frequently with the “zero maintenance” kit provided.
